Upcoming Nations Cup (International)

Morning,

A few days ago, Lucasinho (French captain) sent a message out to all the captains of countries which participated in the Country Championship 2012. This message was to ask which captains would like to enter their respective country into an international tournament - because CC2013 is a long way off.

I'm told that this tournament will be organised by Lucasinho himself including some of the YeS and Russian league admins. The tournament will take place sometime between november and january.

So that we are prepared this time, I thought we should knock up a new roster and start training ASAP.

This new roster is as follows:

A reserve list will be made so that any players who go inactive before the tournament can be replaced.

There are also a couple of other things to be noted:

• Griffin will return as Assistant Manager.
  
• CircleBoy joins us as "Defence Coach" - basically he'll watch replays with us and help with analysis, giving advice to the two new goalkeepers.
  
• Maddude will be "Attack Coach" - pretty much the same as CB but for attack.

Honoured to be included in the UK squad, and glad to have CB as a mentor seeing as I pretty much stole his spot at arriba as well as his avatar.

Maybe having 1 more natural DM in there would have been nice, Ogre himself said to me he doesn't like playing DM but then again its not like we have that many good DM's anymore seeing as mani died.

So you don't know any Latvian players apart from me, yet you know that we don't have a single decent player.

We've got one of the best GK+DM pairings in Europe, with the GK being voted as the best in the Russian league, while ato is a top tier player, who's been invited to the leading clubs in YeS league and Russia. He's turned down all the offers, which is the only reason why he isn't as known as Falk, for instance.

Our weakest link has always been the attacking line, but given that 4 of our forwards have joined teams in the Finnish-Swedish and Russian leagues, it shouldn't be a major problem anymore.

*If all the leading players can make it* (we're all adults with other things to do), we're definitely a better side than the Netherlands. Never said we would steamroll UK, although I'd call us the favorites. My point was that it would be interesting for me, not that UK is absolute shit.

But I admit that we have almost no depth (we're a small country), so any missing player is a huge loss.
