Mafia - Day 6

Rules:

• Try to keep discussion in this topic. Of course you are allowed to use PM's or whatever to talk to those you think are on the same side as you, but try to keep most of it in here as it makes it more interesting to follow.
  
  
• Do not quote any messages that I send you. I am the moderator not an actual person you can quote.
  
  
• Each day you can choose to lynch another member of the town. Make sure you make this clear who you intend to lynch by using the following format:
  
  VOTE: Player Name
  
  Of course you do not have to lynch someone, so you can instead use VOTE: No Lynch if you want.
  
  
• A day will last 48 hours except the first day which will last 24 hours. A night will last a maximum of 48 hours but can also last 24 hours if all night actions are received within 24 hours.
  
  At the end of the day the person with the most lynch votes will be lynched. If there are more no lynch votes, then no one will be lynched. NOT VOTING DOES NOT COUNT AS NO LYNCH!
  
  No one is allowed to post during the night phase.
  
  
• If you do not vote you will receive a warning. 3 warnings and you will be mod-killed.
  
  
• Dead? You can't post in here anymore.

I'm sure in the last game soc went for an early lynch and was mafia...but mani knows that...he wouldnt be so foolish...or would he?

All this bs aside, it never makes sense to lynch day 1. Or I don't think it does (I had a long argument with someone about it last game).

It's the standard for a day 1, but some interesting behaviour has already developed between Joe & Edgar. Will be watching this closely. Let's not forget Mani has proven to be a very skilled player so knows what he is doing.

One of us will get lynched by the mafia tonight anyway so it doesn't make sense to me to vote no lynch.

A lynch on day one doesn't help the town (statistical analysis can show this). Any lynch is pure guesswork at this stage. We need the cop to get investigating pronto.

No it doesn't but simply no lynching without discussion doesn't help either. Starting a bandwagon is the only way to get going at this point. Obviously there's no evidence to go on yet so we need to create some by putting people under pressure and gauging the reaction of other players.

With Edgar's so called 'Detective' skills he using it now, to stir attention away from him. Not just me but many people know on TS he's been bragging about his detective skills. 'Edgar Take a Seat'. For these reasons I have some serious suspicions on edgar davids, but its too early to make a conclusion. So atm he's a suspect to me. His behaviour has been kinda funny, and we know edgar is quite intelligent in this game. So don't LET HIM DECEIVE YOU!
