DVG! DVG! DVG!
The Game: David vs. Goliath
Setup: 3v3 on Easy. 0 Score limit, 5-10minute Time limit.
Play: Players on a team work together to score in the opposing net. The player that scores the goal gets removed from the field. His team is left a man down against a full team and plays on 2v3. If the opponent's team scores on a diminished team, the player is brought back onto the field.
Goal: To get all of your players off the field by eventually reaching a 1v3 situation, and scoring with your lone remaining striker (David) against the full team of three (Goliath). The reason for the easy stadium is that this would be near impossible in Classic unless you were playing against a completely low-skilled team. On the Easy stadium, the net is big enough for a skilled striker to have a chance at finishing the job. Winning the game is still difficult, but possible.
Time Limit: With balanced teams, it's expected that the field dynamics would shift back and forth. Once a 1v3 situation is reached, it is extremely easy for the opposing team to score and put it back to 2v3 (at which point, someone else might try to be the David) and so on. Suggested time limit is sometime around 10 or even 15 minutes (this game type makes for a long epic battle, and it's a waste to end early). But since the game must end, at the end of the time limit if David hasn't beaten a Goliath by then, the team that has the Goliath (full 3 people) loses. If both teams are full when the time runs out (3v3 and fully tied), the game ends in a draw.
Own Goals: There are no own goals, the opposing player who touched the ball last is credited with the goal.
