It's not so fair for Admin side... sorry.

The trimming is being redone because the season start date has been moved forward so it would be unfair on captains if they trimmed their side based on the original date.

This will be allowed for now but for next season there will be a rule in place stating only the captain can become manager.

Won't teams be able to get round this by just making a player captain, and then making him manager straight afterwards?

I'd suggest putting a time period on how long a player has to have been captain.
