    >Well, that's just unfortunate, but as you say, there are plenty of players that could replace him if you feel the need to.
Players that don't know anything about our tactics and who are not used to the style each of us play. No chemistry.

    >Haxball =/= Football, there is a vast difference between the skill levels needed for haxball and football.
I could've used ice hockey or foosball in my analogy, it's not about equating football with haxball, but about underlining the fact that players have certain strengths and weaknesses, which make them more suited to a specific position on the field, just like in any other team sport.

Well, personally I'd rather see players playing regularly in a reserves league, and showing off their abilities, rather than playing very occasionally.
Again, false dichotomy. *facepalm* It's not a choice between a reserve league and players sitting on the bench in Div 1/2.

"I'd rather see players regularly playing in Div 1, rather than playing very occasionally in the reserve league." What now? :>

Players are not slaves, they can quit a team and join the reserves if they want to. Your argument is invalid.

If the players and the captain want to play in such a team, why shouldn't they? Because you don't like it?

Of course. Cam made things up (6th player never getting to play; 6th player forever stuck in a team that doesn't play him; no reserve league once the roster limit is marginally increased) and used that to justify his position. I did the same to show how ludicrous that is, that's all.

But they're not comparable. One is very likely to happen in most teams, one isn't. Can you guess which is which?

I think everyone's talking about their own team here, I was talking about mine. Every player rotates and gets equal playing time in NL and I surely don't want to keep anyone in my squad against their will. So in my case the statement I made makes a lot more sense. No idea how the things work in other teams. If other teams have slave-players, maybe that's the issue that we should focus on first.

Why the fuck a division 2 team is completely randomly representing FM in the Champions League?

Who made that decision and how is that fair in respect to other teams?

Commenting on and insulting people over an issue you know absolutely nothing about. You really are an idiot. In addition to that, your attitude stinks and so the following explanation is aimed at everyone except you.

    ------

Basically what Ghost said. Adarax hadn't posted his squad on the champions league site and the deadline had passed. We had to find a replacement literally straight away and cheese was the only captain available. CUNTs are top of division 2 and no disrespect to masterchefs, but with them currently on 0 points and struggling to field players for their games, CUNTs will probably provide better competition.

    Girg,
Whats your problem with a division2 team....
I think we've proven we do well against division 1 teams by beating acdp 5-1 yesterday and defeat Deja and Northern Lights in friendlys. (friendlys arent the smame as league matches but still).

And if I remember well It took you 16 minutes to score against the number 3 in division2 yesterday...

The fact that you play in division1 doesnt mean you are automaticly better then div2 teams.
The only reason that you even play division1 is that you could take over circleboys since you had 1 new captain+ 4 draft picks just like the rest of the new teams.

    Nothing against division2 Very Happy

The only thing I'm protesting against is that nepotic little turds get to arbitrarily decide who represents FM in the Champions League and who doesn't.

The fact that you play in Division 2 doesn't mean that you're automatically better than top Division 1 teams, which is what jonny here has implied with his decision.

No, what Jonny said was that Cheese was the only captain available at the time and he couldn't risk waiting for other captains to randomly appear online. The Champions League had a deadline set that couldn't be broken for fear of having a team disallowed entirely.

Absolute bullshit, the games start only tomorrow and the CL admins casually accepted the roster submitted by prizzle just a couple hours ago, thinking that Chefs might not have pulled out. It would not be a problem to send them the name of the 4th team this evening, please don't rationalize your bias.

    Well firstly, games start tonight.

Secondly, the rules on the haxball CL website say that the deadline to submit squads was yesterday (Sunday) 22:00 CET. It is nothing to do with me if they are choosing to except squads after the deadline, take it up with them.

Lastly, Northern Lights aren't in the CL. If squads are still being accepted, masterchefs may get back in. If not, C U Next Thursday are in.

Yup, with the way things have been going, I wouldn't be surprised if NL wouldn't be allowed to play in the CL next season even if we win both the league and the cup. :>

Instead of trying to fix things, I just got banned from the chat. Great strategy. Just ban everyone who dares to criticize anything here. It's super effective.

opc, I surely respect CUNTs more than your team, at least they have the guts to play there.

And, no, jonny, CUNTs/Chefs do not play this evening. And as for the alleged deadline, I along with several other captains was online at that point. So stop lying to my face.

I never said cunts/chefs play this evening. You worded it as though you were talking about the whole thing. Not my fault you're not clear enough.

I honestly don't know what your problem is. Your team have no more right than NWA, CUNTS, Aquopolis, Ajhax or whoever to be in the CL. Masterchefs were sort of a div2 representative having been there last season so is it not right that the team currently top of division 2 takes their place?

Basically what Ghost said. Adarax hadn't posted his squad on the champions league site and the deadline had passed. We had to find a replacement literally straight away and cheese was the only captain available. CUNTs are top of division 2 and no disrespect to masterchefs, but with them currently on 0 points and struggling to field players for their games, CUNTs will probably provide better competition.

i was here at the time, and my team is top of div 1 baffles me how we never got any offer.

Rach NL are second in div 1 tbf, some credit has to go to them for that you just cant say cunts would wipe the floor with them.

If we're gonna quote league positions, Caths are joint 2nd and Aquo beat them (No bragging this is just because Aidan decided to bring it up). Also yeah, I was on at the time as well, as was Tanzim.

Who made that decision and how is that fair in respect to other teams?

This is the original post you made that caused this shit storm.

To address the first question it was last night on TS that a guy from Germany etc came in to our channel and asked Jonny for a new team if Masterchefs weren't playing. So then amongst the 10 other people that were there we all said CUNT's because they're a solid team and would represent England as well as FM, plus cheese being a long member in the community it was the right choice to make. It wasn't just Jonny's idea he asked people that were online and it was a MUTUAL AGREEMENT

Its not about fairness, not every team participates its the bloody CHAMPIONS LEAGUE. So with this guy on TS saying jonny I need a team every 2 minutes while jonny is looking for one, we seen cheese and asked and he accepted. Now please will you stop carrying on this pointless debate. I addressed your questions with FACTS. If you're not satisfied, then bitch that's yo problem.

So the decision wasn't arbitrary, it was based on racism. Great stuff.

plus cheese being a long member in the community it was the right choice to make.
Nepotism - just adds more to the injury.

It wasn't just Jonny's idea he asked people that were online and it was a MUTUAL AGREEMENT ...
...among a couple of people that know each other personally and use a specific channel for communication that isn't used by the majority of FM players/captains.

Its not about fairness, not every team participates its the bloody CHAMPIONS LEAGUE.
If Arsenal would finish top 2 in the Premier League and they wouldn't be allowed to enter the CL on the basis that not enough of their players are English and their manager doesn't turn up to a specific pub often enough to chit chat about unrelated BS, would that be fair?

Precisely because this is the CL we're talking about, the criteria for selecting the teams should be clearly defined AND FAIR. The way CUNT was picked is simply disgusting, like it or not, ban me from the chat or not.

with this guy on TS saying jonny I need a team every 2 minutes while jonny is looking for one
Too fucking bad he forgot to log on this site and look at the list of people being online - that would've been too hard.

we seen cheese and asked and he accepted.

    Based on racism of what!?

CUNTs have 2 dutch players ffs. He's on about representing the English league (as you would represent the premiership in football) with a strong team. He didn't mention 'English players'.

You have to be trolling. Nobody is this fucking dense.

You haven't finished 2nd in the league. Do you not understand that you have no more right than any other team to be in the CL? The criteria was clearly defined and fair, top 3 teams at the end of the season and the cup winners. Masterchefs couldn't play, they were in div2, the current top div2 gets their place.

There is nothing to discuss (read: for you to complain about).

The Masterchefs were included, because they won the cup.

Did CUNTs come second in the cup? No, they did not.

I was on the site. Didn't receive a single message here. Neither did other captains.

Once again, nothing against CUNT, but the selection process was absolutely unfair.

No idea why have I been banned again from the chat for saying this, this is common sense and you have to be really thick to not understand that other teams might be upset about how this whole thing was carried out.

It's even more depressing to see that the other British teams are getting their arses handed to them in the first games. It just doesn't help the reputation of British haxball.
